  • How much is the OrCam Pro? £3700.00 excluding VAT. Most Blind and visually impaired people are VAT exempt if the product is bought for personal use. A VAT exception form will need to be completed. Our recent national campaign will give you 10% off this price if you state TG2021 over the phone or by using it as a discount code on our online shop.

  • What if the product is not suitable? We have a 30-day money-back guarantee on all of our products. If we are notified that the product is not suitable within the 30 day period we arrange a collection (at our cost) and a full refund is given.

  • Do you do something cheaper? Yes. Depending on the functions you require we do offer cheaper models. These models will just read print to you though.

  • What if new software is released? The OrCam Pro can be connected to your home Wi-Fi. If this is done, any new software releases will be installed automatically within the units guaranteed period. New features may be chargeable.

  • How much does it weigh and how does it connect to my glasses? The device weighs 22.5 grams. It comes with mounts that connect to your glasses and then magnetically snaps to the mounts. These mounts fit most glasses and it does come with a few for those that wear various glasses. Additionally, it comes with a “dummy” pair of glasses for those that do not wear spectacles.

  • Can I connect headphones to the device? The OrCam Pro does not have a headphone socket. It does however have Bluetooth for wireless connection to headphones and compatible hearing aids.

  • What if I need more support? We fully support the products we sell for the lifetime of the period. This may be over the phone or even by a visit from our own team of local sales consultants.

  • Do I need a Smart Phone or Computer to use this? Absolutely not. The only time an internet connection will be required is for software updates.

  • How long does the battery last and how do I recharge it? The OrCam Pro battery life is roughly 2hours, it simply connects to a 3pin mains charger.
